Indigestion: Can occur with MI as atypical chest discomfort, especially in older adults or women, and is also a common symptom of GERD. Dyspnea: Shortness of breath is associated with MI due to decreased cardiac output and pulmonary congestion, not usually with GERD. Nausea: May result from reduced perfusion to the GI tract in MI, or from gastric acid irritation in GERD, so it fits both. Eructation (Burping): Strongly associated with GERD due to reflux of gastric contents, not typical of MI. Hoarseness: Often related to GERD from chronic acid irritation of the larynx, not a feature of MI.
